As a platform where graduate students can present and discuss papers that they have written during the semester, academic paper presentations have first started at the end of the first semester in 2007 and have since been held once a semester every semester. Through these presentations, the graduate students are given an opportunity to receive evaluations and critique to better their papers, and broaden their outlook by exposing themselves to the various topics that their colleagues are interested in. These presentations can also serve to be practice grounds for students preparing for academic presentations abroad, and at the same time, serves to be educative grounds for students who have previously presented their paper abroad to share their know-hows and strategies on presentations abroad with their colleagues. Among the presented papers, three best will be selected and given small rewards.
