Aid is given for international academic activities like overseas institutions and program course completion for Master’s and Doctorate students. However, the aid is given based on the appropriateness of the overseas academic conference, and aid is not given unless the paper satisfies a certain standard.

2)

Application Pool: Evaluated and determined based on the participatory activities of the applicants.
Evaluation Process: Aid is based on the advising professor’s guidance and recommendation, and with the approval of the departmental faculty council. The applicant’s desire to participate in the international academic activity and fairness among the applicants are also considered in the evaluation.

3)

Application Process: In the case that the overseas institution’s short-term or intermediate-term courses or programs meet the applicant’s study plan, they can apply and request aid after receiving the acceptance letters from the courses or programs. The same process applies for the various overseas academic conferences (provided that the applicant actually participates, either as a presenter or a discussant) and for overseas research. However, aid for overseas research is limited to the students whose proposals have been accepted and passed. In the case that advising professors are already determined, the applicants should notify and counsel with the professor as soon as possible regarding overseas academic activities and research, and apply for aid. In the case that advising professors are not determined (Master’s students), the applicants can receive consultation from the major or department head professor. It is advised that the applicants explore other methods of aid (the various within school and outside school aids) before turning to the departmental aid. In order to retain fairness and enable a relatively equal distribution of benefit, the aid is a one-time fund. However, repeated applications are possible within the fund limit.
